Hours of Work: 7.30am and 4pm Monday to Thursday, 7.30am to 3pm Fridays and a minimum of 1 in 4 Saturday mornings per month from 8am to 12noon.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Treatment Tank Operative to join our team in Long Whatton, LE12 5DE. The Treatment Tank Operative is a vital part of our team, Treatment Tank Operative are responsible for operating the timber treatment tanks, ensuring timber is treated to the correct specifications and safety standards.
What you’ll be doing as Treatment Tank Operative:
Operating the timber treatment line, ensuring the correct source products, timber treatment, pressurised tank and feed systems are used for treatment, following the production schedule.
Ensuring safe loading and unloading of the line, and adhering to Health & Safety requirements.
Keeping good clear records of production batches, treatment usage and calibration checks, as well as effectively report plant defects to maintenance.
Accurate use of treatment software and associated platforms, reporting performance metrics, improvement plans, and recovery actions.
Monitoring the treatment process and adjust the parameters when needed, in order to meet production targets for quantity, quality, and cost while minimising waste.
Your Skills:
Experience in running timber treatment line.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Excellent attention to detail is essential.
Strong awareness of Health and Safety.
Counterbalance experience.
NVQ level 1 and 2 in timber treatment (desirable but not essential)
