Temporary Warehouse Operative – Tracks Publishing
Tracks Publishing Ltd is one of the leading Greeting Cards Publishers in the UK, offering a vast selection of greeting cards and stationery. We are looking to recruit a Temporary Warehouse Operative on an 6 – 8 weeks temporary basis as soon as possible.
Your role will involve working under Production and the Warehouse Supervisor, primarily applying labels to seasonal stock and creating Christmas card boxes. Other duties include general warehouse maintenance and picking/ packing orders.
The role is full time, Monday to Friday from 8am – 4:00pm with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break at a time to be agreed.
The role involves:
· Labelling packs of Christmas cards and packing them accordingly
. Picking/ packing orders
· Building boxes specially designed for our charity cards and packing the appropriate items to include in each box.
· Working in a busy, fast paced, changing environment, meeting demands and deadlines.
· Adhering to company standards and procedures, ensuring uniformity of products that meets customer expectations.
· Liaising with all areas of the company.
· To be able to work quickly, accurately, and safely.
· Various other warehouse tasks as directed by Production and the Warehouse Supervisor.
· Maintaining a clean, tidy, and safe working environment.
The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, be punctual, have a good eye for detail and be flexible to meet business needs.
This is a temporary role. Experience as a Warehouse Operative is desired but full training will be given.
