Job Title: Care Assistant
Duties:
- Provide assistance and support to individuals with daily living activities
- Assist with personal care tasks such as washing, dressing and dental hygiene
- Help with basic meal preparation.
- Administer medication as directed by healthcare professionals
- Assist with mobility and transfers
- Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning and laundry
Skills:
- Compassionate and caring nature
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Patience and empathy when dealing with individuals with disabilities or health conditions
This is a temporary role for no less than 12 months to cover maternity leave. Full training and ongoing support given.
