Deben Willow Care Ltd are recruiting a Rota Co-ordinator to be based in Claydon, Suffolk. You will work alongside the present team already in post. This role will encompass taking full responsibility for the rostering once company strategies and systems are learnt.

The role:
The post entails responsibility for maintaining the rotas, which are computer-based and run over electronic software programmes, ensuring that customer and staff rotas are well organised. Your responsibilities will include liaising with customers their family and/or advocate.
Communication with care staff, colleagues and other Health professionals, including our contract partners Suffolk County Council and NHS continuing health.
We are looking for someone with a keen eye for detail who is confident maintaining accurate records.
The successful candidate will be able to maximise the availability of all staff members and effectively cover sickness and holidays. They will ensure that the service provided is high quality and in keeping with the company’s ethos.
Required experience and skills:
· You will need to demonstrate strong IT skills as the role involves the use of two different software programmes.
· Knowledge in the use of Excel, word and Outlook.
· Experience of working in the care sector is not crucial but you should have experience working in a role which required high levels of organisation and attention to detail. Previous experience of managing rotas, in any setting, would be an advantage.
· You will be able to work well under pressure, often to tight deadlines, and be able to effectively manage fast paced situations.
· Excellent communication skills.
· Good geographical knowledge of Suffolk or an ability to undertake effective route planning.
· You will need a confident and well-presented telephone manner and be happy in speaking with a wide range of people.
· An ability to work well as part of a team but also be confident when working alone and taking responsibility.
· Flexibility with additional working hours when operational need arises.
