Joining us as a Street Works Specialist
Join our Network Build team as a Street Works Specialist, where you'll lead collaboration with local authorities and build partners to ensure compliance with NRSWA regulations and minimise operational risks. You'll provide expert guidance, resolve complex disputes, and represent our interests at regional forums. This field based role is ideal for someone with strong street works knowledge and a proactive, solutions focused mindset.

This is some of what you can expect to be doing:
- Build strong, collaborative relationships with local authority teams, acting as a trusted advisor to ensure smooth and compliant street works operations
- Provide expert guidance to internal teams and partners on street works legislation, helping to prevent costly fines and maintain a positive reputation
- Resolve complex issues and disputes with confidence and professionalism, using your knowledge to find fair and effective solutions
- Monitor performance data to spot trends, identify risks, and support continuous improvement across regional projects
- Represent the company at industry meetings and forums, ensuring your voice is heard and helping shape the future of street works practices
What you’ll bring to the role
You'll bring strong communication and problem solving skills, a solid understanding of street works legislation, and the confidence to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders to keep projects running smoothly and compliantly. You’ll also have:
- The ability to build trusted relationships with local authorities and internal teams, to ensure clear and confident communication
- Expertise to help guide teams and ensure compliance across all street works activities
- Skills to resolve complex issues and disputes, staying calm under pressure with a solution focus
- Experience in civils, ideally at supervisor level or above, with a focus on reinstatement
- Working knowledge of the SROH and Coring
- Familiarity with tools like Symology, Aurora, or Street Manager will help you hit the ground running
