Street Cleansing Driver/Operative
37 hours per week (Covering 7 days on a 37-hour rota basis between 6am - 10pm)
Fixed Salary of £27,269 (£14.13 per hour)
27 days Annual Leave, increasing after 5 years’ service

The successful candidate will manage a team of street cleansing operatives in maintaining a clean and well-maintained street network, ensuring the efficient and safe delivery of street cleansing services within the Borough of Hastings and St. Leonards. The successful candidate will drive and operate a selection of cleansing vehicles as well as undertaking general street cleansing duties. The postholder will ensure that a high standard of cleansing is maintained and will have excellent customer service skills.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role with a strong understanding of street cleansing.

Essential: Cat C1 (7.5t) Driving Licence category with current valid DCPC & Tacho Card.
Desirable: Cat C (Class 2) Driving Licence category with current valid DCPC & Tacho Card.
