Krantz Designs are looking for Skilled and Semi Skilled Bench Joiners / Cabinet Makers to join our growing team on a full time permanent employed basis. We are a well-established and growing company with a stunning showroom in the Bailgate area of uphill historic Lincoln.
As a Cabinet Maker, you will be responsible for crafting and assembling wooden components to create high-quality furniture and fixtures. Your expertise will contribute to the success of our projects and ensure the delivery of exceptional artisanship.
The successful applicant will have excellent communication skills, be approachable and enthusiastic. An appreciation of high-end bespoke furniture is essential.
You will join our dedicated team of Joiners, whilst liaising with both our designers and our project managers. Experience of Bench Joinery is essential.
A relocation package will be offered to the right candidate if located outside of the area.

Responsibilities:
- Interpret technical drawings and specifications to understand project requirements.
- Operate a variety of woodworking machinery, hand tools, and power tools to shape, cut, and assemble wooden components.
- Accurately measure, mark, and cut wood pieces to ensure precise fitting and alignment.
- Shape and mold wooden surfaces using techniques such as planing, sanding, and carving.
- Assemble wooden components using joinery techniques such as tenon, dovetail, and biscuit joints.
- Install hardware, fittings, and finishes to complete the final product.
- Inspect finished products for quality, making any necessary adjustments or repairs.
- Collaborate with colleagues, including designers and joiners, to ensure effective project execution.
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Cabinet Maker or a similar role within the woodworking industry.
- Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
- Excellent knowledge of woodworking machinery, hand tools, and power tools.
- Ability to accurately measure, mark, and cut wood pieces for precise fitting.
- Strong joinery skills and familiarity with various joinery techniques.
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality artisanship.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Prior experience in furniture or bespoke joinery is preferred but not required.
