Job Description
We are looking for a working /hands on Workshop Foreman / Bench Joiner to join our team in Plymouth.
Roles and responsibilities
Supervise workshop employees and control works programme
Ensure items ready and inspected for delivery
Order material
Ensure Health and safety compliance
Liaise with customers verbally and electronically
Liaise with Directors and employees
Attend weekly meetings
Bench joiners duties including producing drawings, supply cutting sheets, operating woodwork machinery, using hand tools, reporting non-conformances, lifting raw material
Qualifications/Experience
Time served apprenticeship
Experience in supervising / foreman role
CAD knowledge
Ability to communicate
To complete online Health and safety module training
Rate of pay is negotiable dependant on experience.
Working hours: 40 hours per week plus overtime.
Annual leave entitlement: 20 days per year plus bank holidays.
