Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to manage day-to-day site operations across HMO and student accommodation projects. The ideal candidate will have a background in supervising refurbishment or fit-out works in occupied and unoccupied residential buildings, with a strong understanding of compliance, health & safety, and coordination of multiple trades.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and coordinate all on-site activities, ensuring work is carried out safely, efficiently, and to a high standard
Manage subcontractors, trades, and direct labour on site
Maintain site safety and enforce health & safety regulations in line with CDM guidelines
Ensure timely delivery of materials, equipment, and services
Monitor project timelines and report progress to the project manager or director
Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks, and maintain accurate site records
Ensure compliance with HMO licensing requirements and building regulations
Liaise with clients, building control, and other stakeholders as required
Maintain a clean, organised, and professional site environment
Requirements
Minimum 3 years of experience in site supervision or site management
Proven experience with HMO conversions and/or student accommodation refurbishments
Strong understanding of UK building regulations and HMO compliance standards
SMSTS or SSSTS certification (essential)
First Aid at Work (preferred)
Full UK driving licence
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications
Experience working in fast-paced, multi-trade environments
