Job Summary
We are seeking a vigilant and professional Door Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for patrons and staff at our venue. This role requires a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle various situations with poise. The Door Supervisor will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with licensing laws and company policies while providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities
- Monitor the entrance and exit points of the venue to ensure the safety of all guests.
- Conduct thorough checks of identification to verify age and entry eligibility.
- Manage crowd control effectively, ensuring a smooth flow of patrons entering and exiting.
- Respond promptly to any incidents or emergencies, providing first aid when necessary.
- Utilise CCTV systems to monitor activity within and around the venue, reporting any suspicious behaviour.
- Collaborate with security personnel to enforce venue policies and maintain order.
- Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying potential theft or misconduct.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and concerns professionally.
Requirements
- Valid Door Supervisor licence is essential.
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong observational skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Excellent verbal communication skills to interact effectively with guests and staff.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
