Job Summary
We are seeking a vigilant and professional Door Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining safety and security at our venue, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all guests while effectively managing any potential risks. This position requires a proactive approach to loss prevention and the ability to respond swiftly to incidents.
Responsibilities
- Monitor entry and exit points to ensure the safety of guests and staff.
- Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV systems to identify and address any suspicious behaviour.
- Implement loss prevention strategies to minimise theft and damage within the premises.
- Provide first aid assistance when necessary, ensuring the well-being of all individuals on site.
- Maintain a visible presence to deter anti-social behaviour and enforce venue policies.
- Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services as required during incidents.
- Prepare detailed reports on any incidents or breaches of security for management review.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a security role, particularly as a Door Supervisor, is preferred.
- Knowledge of CCTV operations and surveillance techniques is essential.
- Certification in first aid is highly desirable.
- Strong observational skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with guests and staff.
