Shipwright
We are looking for a full-time Shipwright to join our team on a permanent basis, working 07:30–16:15 Monday – Thursday and 07:30–15:15 on Friday (39 hours per week). Overtime is offered as and when required and is paid at 1.5 x hourly rate.
Job Description:
· Assisting in routine maintenance and refit work
· Working with wood, GRP and steel vessels
· Finishing skills, painting and varnishing
· Assist with slipping and un-slipping of vessels
· Competent in workshop machinery and hand tools
Ideally you will have worked as a shipwright however we are also keen to hear from Joiners and Carpenters.
Salary:
We pay our Shipwrights up to £16.08 per hour, dependent on skills and experience. The starting salary will be discussed at the interview.
