We’re looking for a Senior Residential Support Worker / Team Leader to join our brand-new 3-bed children’s home in Sutton Coldfield. This is a fantastic opportunity to help shape a nurturing, supportive environment for vulnerable and challenging young people.
What you’ll do:
- Lead shifts and support the team in delivering high-quality care
- Be a role model for staff and young people alike
- Support with care planning, risk assessments, and daily routines
- Build strong, trusting relationships with children and professionals
- Help train and mentor new and existing staff
What we’re looking for:
- Experience in residential childcare
- Confidence in leading a team and managing challenging behaviours
- A caring, resilient, and proactive approach
- Knowledge of safeguarding and care standards
