The post holder will work in a 1 in 8 rota to provide anaesthetic cover in obstetrics on labour ward and support the on call anaesthetic team when necessary including the theatre anaesthetists and ICU team.

Maternity / Labour Ward analgesia and anaesthesia
Theatres / Anaesthesia and Perioperative care, including pre-operative assessment
Pain and analgesia service
Transfer of patients to other hospitals
Resuscitation service
The Hillingdon Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is the only acute Hospital in the London Borough of Hillingdon and offers a wide range of services including accident and emergency, inpatient care, day surgery, outpatient clinics and maternity services. The Trust’s services at Mount Vernon Hospital include routine day surgery, delivered at a modern treatment centre, a minor injuries unit and outpatient clinics.
