Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic, motivated, and results-driven Senior Account Executive to expand our drone equipment and solutions sales in the UK market. This hybrid role offers an exciting opportunity to represent iRed, a market-leading brand under Volatus Aerospace, while driving sales growth for drone solutions that include high-end equipment, aerial services, and tailored training packages. You’ll work closely with iRed UK team and collaborate with the broader Volatus sales network in North America to bring cutting-edge technology to customers across various industries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively identify and secure new business opportunities through market research, lead generation, networking, and relationship-building efforts.
- Create and execute data-informed sales strategies to achieve regional sales targets and long-term revenue goals.
- Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact through proposal, negotiation, closing, and contract management.
- Maintain accurate CRM records (Zoho) of sales activities, pipeline status, and customer interactions; provide timely sales reports and forecasts to management.
- Stay informed on emerging drone technologies, competitor activities, and market developments to refine sales strategies.
- Conduct market research to identify industry trends, potential customers, and new opportunities for business growth
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to grow drone equipment and solutions sales within the UK market.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships with new and existing clients across diverse sectors, including energy, public safety, defense, infrastructure, and other emerging markets.
- Identify and manage public and private tender opportunities relevant to the region or sector; collaborate with the business development team to align on submissions.
- Conduct in-depth client needs assessments to recommend tailored drone solutions, while identifying broader opportunities for product innovation or strategic partnerships that support company growth and market positioning.
- Provide professional after-sales support through proactive client follow-ups, issue resolution, and ongoing relationship management to ensure satisfaction, encourage retention, and uphold the company’s reputation.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to support lead generation efforts and contribute to brand visibility in the UK market.
- Provide customer feedback to our product and engineering teams, helping shape the development of new offerings.

- Experience using customer relationship management (CRM) tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or Zoho to manage pipelines, track activities, and forecast sales.
- Results-driven mindset with a commitment to exceeding sales targets and delivering measurable outcomes.
- Adaptable and resilient, with the ability to adjust to evolving business needs and dynamic market conditions in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of B2B sales or business development experience is essential, preferably in technology-driven industries such as drone or aerospace.
- Relevant certifications, licenses, or a bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Aviation, or a related field are considered valuable assets, but not required.
- Ability to work independently in a hybrid/remote setting, demonstrating proactive and self-motivated sales management.
- Strong understanding of drone technology and its commercial applications across various sectors is considered an asset.
- Willingness to travel across the UK (travel to clients, trade shows and events, and Emsworth HQ)
