Location
Reading (RG1) — in‑person role. Reliable commute or relocation required.
Role Highlights
As a Security Officer, you will:
- Manage access and egress control
- Serve front of house in gatehouse duties
- Conduct internal and external patrols
- Provide retail security support
- Take on additional responsibilities as the role progresses
- Shifts will starts once we have received the SC Clearance for security officer.
Essential Criteria
- Valid SIA Licence
- British Passport Holder/ Settled Status
- BPSS eligibility (right to work, ID, criminal and employment checks) with pathway to SC Clearance (5‑year UK residency required)
- Professional appearance
- Confident verbal communication skills
Preferred (Nice-to-Have)
- First Aid Certification
- Full SC Clearance or precursor experience
- Driving Licence
- Experience in security (1 year +)
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Zero hours contract
Pay: £16.00 per hour
