Security Officer
Location: Diageo, Whitehouse Industrial Estate, Runcorn
Working Hours: 56 hours per week (3 Days, 3 Nights, 3 Off – includes weekends and bank holidays)
Hourly Rate: £13.10

Job Introduction
We’re looking for a professional and vigilant Security Officer to join our team at Diageo, Runcorn. This is a frontline role requiring high standards of customer service, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain safety and security across the site. If you hold a valid SIA licence and have gatehouse experience, we’d like to hear from you.
Role Responsibility
As a Security Officer at Sodexo, your key responsibilities will include:
Managing gatehouse duties and site access control
Conducting regular site patrols and reporting incidents
Ensuring compliance with all relevant health and safety procedures
Monitoring CCTV and other security systems
Working closely with site personnel to ensure a safe and secure environment
The Ideal Candidate
You will have:
A valid SIA licence (essential)
Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
Experience in gatehouse duties (essential)
Strong observational and communication skills
The ability to remain calm under pressure
A minimum age of 21 (due to insurance requirements)
