Overview
We are seeking a skilled Painter on a CIS basis to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction painting and possess strong communication skills. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. A valid driving licence is essential, as the position will involve travelling to various job sites.
Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and priming as necessary
- Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment
- Ensure high-quality finishes by following specifications and adhering to safety standards
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding project requirements and timelines
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working order
- Assist in the planning and execution of painting projects from start to finish
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction painting is preferred
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
- A valid driving licence is required for travel to job sites
- Attention to detail with a commitment to delivering quality workmanship
