We are currently seeking a Sales Representative with proven experience and in-depth knowledge of the aggregates and muck-away industry to help drive new business and expand our client base.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and generate new business opportunities within the construction and groundwork sectors.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, developers, and site managers.
- Understand client requirements and offer tailored transport and material solutions.
- Price jobs effectively and negotiate contracts and rates.
- Attend site visits and meetings when required.
- Liaise with quarries, recycling centres, and suppliers to source materials and plan deliveries.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, client communications, and sales progress.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years’ proven experience in aggregates and muck-away sales.
- Strong knowledge of quarry operations and all common construction materials (e.g. Type 1, MOT, 6F2, sand, ballast, recycled aggregates, topsoil, etc.).
- Existing network within the industry is a strong advantage.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated, driven, and target-oriented.
- Full UK driving licence preferred.
