Compass Homecare is recruiting now for a live-in posting for a service user in the city of Brighton and Hove with our responsive, one-to-one care service that does things differently. The client is based in Brighton with Complex health conditions, therefore experience in complex care is a must, however training will be provided. The client requires carers to assist them abroad multiple times in a year so it is essential the applicant has a valid passport and or indefinite leave to remain in order to fulfil this role.
As a member of our team, you’ll be responsible for a wide range of tasks that can vary by the day, so an amount of flexibility is required. We support our service users with:
- Personal care
- Appointments
- Medication
- Getting out and about
- Engaging with the community
- Domestic assistance
… And all sorts of other things!
This is a live-in posting on a pattern TBD. On your 'on' weeks you'll live with the service user with your own room, and will be expected to tend to the service user through the day.
Please note that this position requires a driver and full use of a vehicle.

- Genuine enthusiasm and a can-do attitude
- Appropriate training/experience
- A clean, full driving licence and use of a car
- A full and valid driving licence
