Window Estimator / Sales Representative – Residential

We are a leading supplier of high-end residential windows and doors, specializing in timber, aluminium, steel, and uPVC systems. Our clients include homeowners, architects, and developers who value craftsmanship, design, and performance. Due to continued growth, we’re looking for a skilled Estimator/Sales Representative to join our team and help us deliver exceptional service from enquiry to contract.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Visiting residential properties to take accurate measurements and assess project requirements
- Interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and tender documents to assess project requirements and scope
- Preparing professional, detailed quotations using internal software and supplier pricing
- Maintain clear and accurate records of estimates, pricing, and supporting documents using internal systems.
- Advising clients on product options, finishes, and performance (e.g. thermal, acoustic, aesthetic)
- Following up on quotations and turning enquiries into confirmed orders
- Working on Purchase Orders for final client confirmation
- Liaising with internal teams to ensure a smooth handover for project delivery
- Managing your own pipeline using Excel / CRM system
- Staying up to date on industry trends and technical product knowledge
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in the double glazing industry (residential focus essential)
- Excellent knowledge of timber, aluminium, steel, and uPVC windows and doors – training offered
- Confident working directly with homeowners, self-builders, builders and architects
- Ability to accurately survey and produce cost estimates
- Professional communication and strong attention to detail
- Computer literate (Microsoft Office, quoting/CRM tools)
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel locally
- Familiarity with Building Regulations
Nice to Have
- Experience with heritage homes, listed buildings, or conservation projects
- Familiarity with architectural drawings or CAD
- Background in high-value residential renovation or new-builds
