Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and self-sufficient Sales Engineer Team Lead to support our customers and partners across Europe. This individual will play a critical role in the pre-sales and after-sales, acting as a trusted technical advisor to our major accounts in the Broadcast, Sports, and Public Safety sectors. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of SaaS and cloud platforms, Go-to-Market strategies, and the ability to quickly grasp new technologies and workflows.

The candidate will be expected to demonstrate strong leadership capabilities while leading and developing an established team of Sales Engineers across EMEA.


Key Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with the sales group to identify customer needs and deliver tailored technical solutions.
  • Translate complex customer requirements into LiveU solutions, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Leading an established team of Sales Engineers, responsible for the team’s development and excellence
  • Lead technical presentations, product demonstrations, and proof-of-concept deployments.
  • Provide technical expertise during the sales cycle and after-sales account management for strategic accounts.
  • Collaborate with Product, R&D, and Customer Success teams to ensure customer satisfaction and continuous improvement.
  • Maintain deep knowledge of LiveU’s product portfolio and industry trends.
  • Represent LiveU at trade shows, industry events, and customer meetings across EMEA.

Requirements:

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in Sales Engineering, Solutions Architect, or Technical Account Management role.
  • Experience managing a remote team of skilled engineers
  • Proven experience in the Broadcast, Sports, or Public Safety sectors.
  • Strong understanding of SaaS platforms, cloud-based workflows, and IP video technologies.
  • Familiarity with Go-to-Market strategies and the ability to align technical solutions with business objectives.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English; additional European languages are a plus.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally across EMEA.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with LiveU or similar live video transmission technologies.
  • Knowledge of video encoding, streaming protocols (e.g. SRT, RTMP), and cloud production tools.
  • Background in systems integration or broadcast engineering.
