Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Payroll Coordinator / Accounts & VAT Clerk to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing payroll processes, ensuring accuracy in data entry, and maintaining compliance with relevant regulations. This role requires strong analytical skills and proficiency in various accounting and payroll systems.
Responsibilities
- Process payroll on a timely basis, ensuring accuracy in calculations and adherence to deadlines.
- Maintain employee records
- Perform data entry tasks related to payroll, including new hires, terminations, and changes in employee status.
- Assistance with the preparation of VAT returns
- Bank analysis for clients
- Generate payroll reports for management analysis and provide insights on trends or anomalies.
Skills
- Proficiency in payroll software such as Sage Payroll, or similar accounting software.
- Excellent data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Solid analytical skills for interpreting payroll data and generating reports.
- Familiarity with accounts payable processes and general accounting principles.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Effective communication skills for liaising with employees at all levels within the organisation.
