We are a family dairy farm just off J27 M5.
We looking for a relief milker as our milker is sadly leaving due to family commitments. Ideally we would like experience but training is provided for the right person.
You must be 100% reliable. You must be able to drive to us. There is no accommodation with this job so you must be local or be prepared to travel to us.
8/16 parlour, ACR’s, ADF & Auto ID. Simple feeding system and wash.
80-100 cows in one cubicle shed and calving pen adjacent to collecting yard.
There is usually another staff member in the yard especially in winter so no tractor work or calf feeding required.. your responsibility is just milking, (you will be milking alone) .
The job is for evening weekday milkings, 2-3 evenings including 1 weekend evening each week. Evenings negotiable at the start. Milking times approx 6-8pm. Pay rate £40 milking. (Per milking not per hour. )
