Relief Personal Assistant
- Hours: Relief hours as required including day, evening and night shifts and weekend work
- Rate of Pay: £14.00 per hour
- Place of Work: Based in employers’ home in Forfar
Personal Assistant to assist the disabled lady in all areas of personal and domestic need, and to accompany her in her social and day-to-day activities. Ensuring her full privacy, dignity, and comfort at all times.
By providing help at the right time, the lady is enabled to lead an individual and independent lifestyle. The lady has a learning disability and needs to be supervised at all times, the Personal Assistant will need to take guidance and instruction from their employer in order to promote the lady’s safety and wellbeing.
The Personal Assistant will work directly with the lady who enjoys various activities such as listening to music, walking, going for a drive in the car and going out in the community.
The successful applicant will need to be patient, be willing to get to know the lady and understand her needs and be able to deal with situations calmly. Experience of working with people with learning disabilities and mobility issues are essential as well as good general health, reliability, and flexibility. Driving licence preferred and own car.
