Job Description
Duggan Recovery is seeking an experienced Vehicle Recovery Driver to join our team. In this role, you will respond to breakdowns, accident recoveries, and vehicle transport requests, ensuring a safe and professional service for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Respond to roadside breakdowns and recover vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Transport vehicles to designated locations, including garages, dealerships, or private addresses.
- Provide professional and courteous service to customers in stressful situations.
- Operate and maintain recovery vehicles in compliance with safety regulations.
- Complete necessary paperwork and reports for each job.
- Work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and emergency call-outs as required.
Requirements
- Must have previous experience in vehicle recovery.
- Valid UK driving licence (Class 2 or C1 essential) Minimum 1 year held.
- Strong customer service skills and a professional attitude.
- Ability to work independently and handle pressure in emergency situations.
- Good geographical knowledge of the local area.
- Mechanical knowledge is an advantage but not essential.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and be on-call when required.
