About the role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic, proactive individual to apply for this key role at Stoke Recovery Service, (SRS).
SRS is an abstinent based recovery Centre, supporting residents of Stoke on Trent who have had substance misuse issues but have made the decision to become abstinent and are motivated to building a fulfilling recovery lifestyle.
At SRS you will be responsible for case management via 121’s, group facilitation and leading on activities delivering abstinence-based interventions and support for service users.
We are looking for an individual that can demonstrate the following
- A successful track record of teamwork and organisational skills working as part of a multi-disciplinary team and with partner organisations.
- Good communication skills and the initiative to work with minimal supervision.
- Sound knowledge of substance misuse treatment systems and substance misuse awareness.
- The ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative.
- Enthusiasm and the ability to work under pressure, meeting deadlines and prioritise workload effectively.
- Confidence working with other agencies and professionals, as well as demonstrating commitment to achieving targets and working within our ethos of abstinent based recovery.
