Job Title: Purchasing & Logistics Support Administrator

Location: Rackheath, Norwich

Company: TSI Structures Ltd

Employment Type: Full-Time / Part-Time (Hours Negotiable)

Reports To: Procurement Manager / Operations Lead

Salary: Negotiable depending on experience

About TSI Structures

TSI Structures Ltd. is an established structural steelwork fabricator based on Norfolk, working on a wide range of building projects in multiple sectors. We focus on quality, reliability, and building strong working relationships across our projects. We're a straight-talking, friendly team who value people who can roll their sleeves up, support others, and get the job done without fuss.

Role Overview

This is a supporting role within our procurement and operations team. You'll work under the guidance of senior staff to help with purchasing steel, co-ordinating deliveries, organising transport, and assisting in the smooth day-to-day running of projects.

It's a varied and hands-on position that involves liaising with suppliers, contractors, clients, and workshop teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Support the procurement manager in the day-to-day management of projects

- Order steel and track deliveries.

- Assist in organising transport and ensuring materials are delivered on schedule.

- General filing & administrative tasks

The right candidate will...

- Hold a valid UK driving licence — some local travel will be part of the role

- Experience in steel purchasing, logistics, or construction is a bonus — but not essential.

- Be organised and able to manage basic admin tasks and follow-through on instructions.

- Strong communication — be able to listen, take direction, and keep others informed.

- Have good people skills - be friendly, respectful, and able to get on with a wide range of personalities. Communicate clearly with internal and external teams to keep things running smoothly. Build and maintain positive relationships with suppliers, clients, and colleagues.

- Be a helpful, flexible presence — stepping in where needed across different parts of the operation. Bring a proactive attitude and a willingness to get involved wherever needed.

- Display a willingness to learn, follow instructions, and ask questions when you're unsure. Come prepared to learn on the job — we don't expect you to know everything on day one!

What You’ll Get

- A supportive team and clear direction from experienced staff.

- Flexible working hours to suit the right candidate.

- A varied day-to-day workload with opportunities to learn and grow.

- A friendly, no-nonsense working environment where your effort is noticed and appreciated.
