We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchaser to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for sourcing materials, negotiating contracts, and maintaining relationships with suppliers to meet the organisation's needs.
Responsibilities
- Source and procure goods and services required for the business while ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Manage relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Collaborate with logistics teams to coordinate the delivery of goods and maintain optimal stock levels.
- Utilise computerised systems such as SAP to track orders, manage stock and analyse purchasing data.
- Monitor market trends and supplier performance to inform purchasing decisions.
Experience
- Proven experience in a purchasing or procurement role within a supply chain environment would be advantageous.
- Familiarity with SAP is highly desirable
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
