Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Potwasher to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards within our establishment. This position is essential in ensuring that all areas are kept to the highest standards, contributing to a pleasant environment for both staff and guests.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas including kitchens,
- Ensure all surfaces are sanitised and free from dirt and debris.
- Assist in food preparation as needed, ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain cleanliness in food preparation areas.
- Uphold high standards of cleanliness in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Support the hospitality team by assisting with serving duties during peak times when required.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a kitchen role, preferably within a restaurant, hotel, or culinary environment is advantageous.
- Familiarity with food preparation and cooking processes is desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent organisational skills with the capability to manage time effectively.
- A proactive attitude towards maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
