We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Pot Wash to join our culinary team in a vibrant kitchen environment. Duties
- Clean and sanitise all pots, pans, dishes, and cooking utensils used by the kitchen staff.
- Maintain a clean and organised pot wash area to ensure efficiency during busy service periods.
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks as required by the culinary team.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations regarding cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen.
- Support kitchen staff by helping with the movement of equipment and supplies as needed.
- Report any damaged or broken equipment to the kitchen supervisor promptly.
Experience
- Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
- A background in food preparation or culinary arts is advantageous for those looking to advance their career in hospitality.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure are essential for success in this role.
