About The Role
We are seeking a number of professional and vigilant Security Officers to join our team for the 2026 Cruise Ship Season. You will play a key role in ensuring the safety and security of over Belfasts prestigious marina berths and associated facilities.
This role involves a mix of duties, patrols, customer service and emergency response. You will be the first point of contact during your shift, providing reassurance and assistance to berth holders, visitors and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Static and mobile (On-foot) patrols
- Assisting with vessel berthing, including handling moorings and monitoring access in adverse conditions.
- Car park monitoring and key-holding for customers.
- Fire prevention, accident prevention and public safety measures.
- First aid provision when required.
- Completing checklists and incident reports in line with site procedures.
- Monitoring site conditions, identifying hazards and reporting faults.
- Supporting environmental and health and safety protocols.
- SIA Door Supervisor or Security Guarding Licence (Essential)
- Valid First Aid at Work certificate
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Physically fit and confident working outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle emergencies professionally.
- Previous marina, port or similar security experience is desirable.
