About the role
We're looking for a proactive and experienced People Advisor to join our team. This role combines both People administration and advisory responsibilities, making it perfect for someone looking to develop their career at a dynamic and ambitious company.
You'll be joining us at an exciting time and working in an agile team where everyone rolls up their sleeves and works together to deliver brilliant work. We're looking for someone with a keen eye for detail and a 'can do' attitude who thrives in this collaborative environment.
What youll be doing day to day
People Administration & Operations:
- Creating employment contracts and all other documentation required throughout the employee lifecycle
- Keeping our HRIS system up to date - processing changes accurately and on time
- Working from our shared people operations mailbox, ensuring that all queries are responded to within SLAs
- Pulling together reports, analysis and recommendations through data from the HRIS system
- Supporting the onboarding/induction of new employees post offer
- Keeping all electronic employee files up to date
People Advisory & Employee Relations:
- Giving practical People advice, support and guidance to managers across the business
- Managing ER cases through to a fair, compliant and successful resolution
- Updating and maintaining ER Case Management log
- Being the go-to person for general People queries, providing helpful and timely advice
- Building great relationships with stakeholders across the business
- Monitoring and reporting on key People data such as employee turnover and sickness absence, spotting trends and working with People Partners to address
- Working collaboratively with the wider People team on various People projects
- Staying current with employment law and People best practices
Youll be a great addition to our team if you have the following skills, knowledge and experience
- CIPD qualification (or working towards)
- Previous People advisory experience, including Employee Relations (ER) case management
- Up to date knowledge of Employment Law
- Previous People Administration experience
- High level of confidentiality and professional approach
- High attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organisational skills
- Experience of Excel and Word
- The ability to work independently or as part of a team with a friendly, positive and helpful manner
- Experience in a dynamic and ambitious business environment
What to expect from our interview process
Well run a two-stage interview process, one stage of which will be an in-person interview at our fabulous Aeroworks office in Manchester city centre.

Ways of working
Our full time hours are 37.5 per week, but we don't have rigid working hours so you can find the working pattern that's right for you. We have core working hours between 10am - 4pm, so we can collaborate and enjoy the social side of work.
We also have hybrid working so we all work from home and from our Aeroworks office in Manchester City Centre. As a team we are in the office 2 days per week (usually Tuesday & Wednesday)
