Mellor Golf Club is seeking a dynamic and motivated PGA Golf Professional to become a key figure in our club. Nestled on the edge of the Peak District with breathtaking views and a warm, welcoming membership, Mellor Golf Club offers a unique opportunity for a forward-thinking professional to grow their career in a supportive and ambitious environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality coaching to members, juniors, and visitors of all abilities.
- Manage and develop the Pro Shop, ensuring a first-class retail experience.
- Drive golf participation and member engagement through innovative coaching programs, clinics, and member competitions.
- Actively promote the club to attract visitors, golf societies, and increase overall tee time bookings.
- Support the marketing and organisation of open competitions, helping to grow entries and raise the club’s profile.
- Provide expert custom fitting and club repairs.
- Support the club in growing its junior and academy programs.
- Act as an ambassador for Mellor Golf Club, upholding its values and traditions.
What We’re Looking For
- Fully qualified PGA Professional.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- A passion for coaching and helping golfers of all levels improve.
- Experience in retail and business management preferred.
- A team player with a proactive, positive and professional approach.
