Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Apprentice Greenkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining the pristine condition of our golf course and grounds, ensuring an exceptional experience for all guests. This position requires a strong commitment to quality and attention to detail, alongside excellent guest service skills.
Duties
- Maintain the health and appearance of the golf course through regular mowing, watering, and fertilising of grass areas.
- Manage the upkeep of bunkers, greens, tees, and fairways to ensure optimal playing conditions.
- Operate and maintain various landscaping equipment safely and efficiently.
- Assist with the planning and implementation of seasonal planting and landscaping projects.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure a cohesive approach to grounds management.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on guest services and hospitality.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- A valid driving licence is desirable for operating machinery across the grounds.
- Physical fitness is required, as the role involves manual labour and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
