As we continue to grow and enhance our services, we are seeking a highly organised and proactive Personal Assistant to support our Operations Director in the smooth running of nursery operations.
We are looking for a dynamic and discreet Personal Assistant to provide comprehensive support to the Director. The role involves a wide range of administrative and organisational tasks, requiring initiative, efficiency, and excellent communication skills. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a passionate leadership team dedicated to excellence in early years education.
This is a full-time position, working 40 hours per week, based at our office at in Storrington.
Key Responsibilities
· Provide high-level administrative support to the Director, including diary management, scheduling meetings, and managing correspondence.
· Act as a point of contact between the Director and internal/external stakeholders.
· Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation as required.
· Support the organisation and planning of events, training days, and parent/community engagement activities.
· Maintain confidential records and ensure sensitive information is handled appropriately.
· Oversee operational tasks such as ordering supplies, managing invoices, and liaising with contractors.
· Monitor compliance deadlines (e.g., Ofsted, health and safety, training) and ensure timely submissions.
· Provide ad-hoc support across nursery sites when required.
Person Specification
Essential:
· Proven experience in a Personal Assistant, Executive Assistant, or similar administrative role.
· Strong organisational and time management skills with a proactive approach.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Ability to work independently with discretion and professionalism.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Desirable:
· Experience in an early years or education environment.
· Understanding of safeguarding and confidentiality in a childcare setting.
· Full UK driving licence and own transport.
