The Role
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Part-Time Sports Coach to lead and support physical activity sessions at our community hub and in local outreach settings. You’ll play a key role in helping participants build confidence, improve their fitness, and develop new skills through sport and physical activity.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging sports and physical activity sessions to children, young people, and/or adults
- Support the planning and development of inclusive sport and wellbeing programmes
- Ensure a safe, fun, and welcoming environment for all participants
- Promote teamwork, confidence, and positive behaviour through sport
- Help monitor attendance, collect feedback, and contribute to reporting where required
- Represent Change and Ask positively in the community
- Support community events and outreach activities as needed
About You
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Passionate about sport and its ability to positively impact lives
- Confident, energetic, and great with people of all ages and backgrounds
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Able to adapt sessions to meet different needs and abilities
- Committed to safeguarding and inclusive practice
Essential:
- Experience coaching or delivering sports/fitness activities
- Relevant coaching qualifications (e.g. Level 1 or 2 in chosen sport)
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
- First Aid and Safeguarding certificates (or willingness to train)
Desirable:
- Experience working in a community or youth setting
- Knowledge of health and wellbeing issues affecting local communities

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £7.50-£15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 2 – 16 per week
