Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Sports Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sports coaching and teaching, with the ability to inspire and motivate children of all ages and skill levels. This role involves detailed lesson planning, class control & excellent lesson delivery through robust communication & the ability to form relationships.
Duties
- Design and implement lesson plans that are tailored to the age of the class & the ability of the individuals.
- Monitor the children's progress and adjust lesson plans as necessary to ensure optimal development.
- Organise and lead competitive events, ensuring all participants understand the rules and expectations.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive environment that encourages all pupils to be involved & have the best chance at development.
- Communicate effectively with all pupils & teachers, creating strong, long lasting relationships.
- Have a excellent understanding on controlling a full class & understand different management techniques.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in sports coaching or teaching is essential.
- Strong knowledge of the PE curriculum being taught, including rules, strategies, and techniques.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with children of varying ages.
- Ability to motivate and inspire others while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Strong organisational skills with the capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Coaching qualification at College level as a minimum.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Zero hours contract
Pay: £20.00-£25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
