Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced female coach or qualified teacher to join our dedicated team for 6 weeks of summer holiday multi-sport camps. You will be responsible for leading a group of children each day, delivering a wide range of sports in a safe, supportive, and energetic environment.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about working with young people and looking to make a difference through sport during the summer.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a group of children (ages 4–15, grouped by age) in daily multi-sport activities
- Deliver fun, inclusive, and engaging sessions across a range of sports including football, cricket, table tennis, field tennis, and rounders
- Supervise and participate in all aspects of the day, including activities and break times
- Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children in your care at all times
- Collaborate effectively with the wider coaching team (6 coaches total)
- Maintain a positive and enthusiastic attitude throughout the camp
- Arrive promptly by 8:45am each day and remain on-site until the end of the camp day at 3:00pm
Essential Requirements
- Experience working with children, ideally in a sporting or educational capacity
- A valid DBS check
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to confidently manage a group of children
- A positive, proactive, and team-oriented attitude
- Commitment to working all 6 weeks of the summer holiday (weekdays only)
Desirable (but not essential)
- Coaching qualifications or relevant sport certifications
- Qualified teacher status (QTS)
- First aid qualification
Job Types: Part-time, Temporary
Pay: £12.21-£15.00 per hour
