Job Title: Specialist laundry and customer service operative
Duties:
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with their inquiries and concerns
- Handle customer transactions, including cash handling, processing payments, arranging deliveries
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations
- Using specialist laundry equipment and garment presses (wet cleaning)
- Follow company policies and procedures to ensure a safe and secure work environment
- Resolve customer complaints or escalate issues as necessary
Experience:
- Previous customer service experience is preferred but not required
- Previous experience in the drycleaning or laundry industry is essential
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling transactions
- Basic computer skills for operating point-of-sale systems
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: From £13.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 24 per week
