Weekend Cleaner & Laundry Assistant
Location: The Seaton Nursing Home, EX12 2AN
Hours: 9:00am – 4:00pm, Saturday & Sunday
Salary: £12.35 per hour (starting rate)
Care Home Size: 28 beds – small, friendly, Outstanding-rated home
We are a small, welcoming, and Outstanding-rated care home looking for a reliable and hardworking Weekend Cleaner & Laundry Assistant to join our team.
Main duties include:
- Cleaning communal areas, residents’ rooms, and bathrooms to a high standard.
- Washing, drying, ironing, and organising residents’ laundry.
- Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in line with infection control standards.
- Working independently while being part of a supportive team.
- Ensuring residents’ comfort and dignity at all times.
Requirements:
- Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience (preferred but not essential – full training provided).
- Good attention to detail and a caring attitude towards older people.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
