Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Laundry professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of our facilities, ensuring that all laundry services meet the highest standards of quality. This position is essential in providing a welcoming and comfortable environment for our guests.
Duties
- Perform daily cleaning tasks in guest rooms, public areas, and laundry facilities to ensure a pristine environment.
- Change bed linens, towels, and other linens as required, ensuring all items are fresh and clean.
- Operate laundry equipment efficiently to wash, dry, and fold linens and garments.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages to management.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations while performing cleaning duties.
- Respond promptly to guest requests for additional services or supplies.
- Ensure all areas are well-stocked with necessary items such as toiletries and linens.
- Assist in deep cleaning projects as needed, including carpet cleaning and window washing.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a hotel or similar environment is preferred but not essential.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy items when necessary.
- Excellent communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members.
