We are seeking Counter Staff to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service while assisting with food preparation and maintaining a clean and organised environment. This position requires strong communication skills, a passion for culinary arts, and the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their orders, ensuring a positive dining experience.
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the counter area,
- Handle cash transactions accurately, utilising basic maths skills for processing payments.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
- Qualifications
- Previous experience in a Takeaway or kitchen environment is preferred but not essential.
- Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Basic maths skills for accurate cash handling and order processing.
- A friendly disposition with a willingness to help customers and enhance their experience.
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
You will be working Friday,Saturday and two other days that can be discussed.Afternoon shift around 5pm-9pm
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £8.00-£12.50 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 16 per week
