Currently recruiting for a Counter Assistant to join a busy Chinese Take away based in Bridge of Don.
Looking for someone to work weekends - weekdays and Saturday/ Sundays (weekly rota)
Shift hours 4:30pm to 8:30pm
Start Date: Immediate Start
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to)
- Providing excellent customer service: Greeting customers.
- Taking phone orders for collection and delivery orders.
- Taking orders over the Counter.
- Working in a very fast environment when busy.
- Cash handling duties.
- Problem solving skills.
- General upkeep of the shop ( i.e tidying, sweeping, stocking the fridge and shelves).
- Able to use own initiative
- Use of card machine for taking payment transactions
- Carrying out end of night totals
Desired work experience:
- Experience working with the public
- Customer friendly
- Quick Learner and able to work under pressure
- Good Hand writing skills
