Job Summary
We have a rewarding vacancy within our small friendly team of Carers, who are committed to providing exceptional care and support to my 35 year old daughter, who has special needs (not behavioural).
The role involves working alongside other Carers to attend to clinical care requirements in her own home in Macclesfield and also playing an active role in assisting her to enjoy fun activities in the community.
Due to the nature of this role, the lady has exercised her right to request only female members of staff support her. These specific requirements do not reflect our views.

Hours:
2 mornings per week 7.45am - 12.45
1 evening per alternate week (approx. 5pm - 10pm)
2 evenings per alternate week (approx. 5pm - 10pm)
Overtime is often available to cover staff holidays (optional)
approx. £13,000 per year
Responsibilities
- Assist the lady with daily living activities, including personal hygiene and dressing.
- Provide medication administration as per prescribed schedules.
- Assist her with mobility, using ceiling track hoists and wheelchair.
- Drive her to appointments, social activities, or errands as needed, ensuring safety during transportation.
- Maintain accurate care records and report any changes in health status to the appropriate personnel.
- Ensure a clean and safe environment for the lady and other staff members by performing light housekeeping duties as required.
Qualifications
- Strong desire to deliver high-quality care.
- Ability to perform handling tasks, using appropriate aids.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Valid driving licence is required for transportation duties.
- A caring attitude with a commitment to enhance her well-being through attentive support and companionship.
