We are seeking a detail-oriented, goal-focused, proactive Accounts/Operations Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our Procurement and Logistics Specialists. Strong communication, both verbal and written, is essential to ensure smooth communication between clients, suppliers, and internal teams. Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate records of transactions using our in-house ERP system and Xero accounts software.
- Follow the company processes, including Supplier Due Diligence Checks.
- Manage FX Broker Accounts + Processing FX Payments via the bank Portal.
- Process supplier payments via online banking.
- Assist in the preparation of finance reports, calculations, and other documentation as required.
- Provide support to the Finance and Trading Team and guidance when necessary.
- Discretion whilst handling sensitive and confidential financial information.
- Maintaining Aged Receivables to ensure timely payments are received.
- Manage data entry tasks and maintain organised filing systems for easy retrieval of information.
- Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette while handling calls and communications.
Experience
- Proven experience in an administrative or clerical role within a finance environment is preferred.
- Level 3 AAT Qualification or relevant accounting degree within Accountancy or Business Finance, or equivalent.
- Proficiency in using computerised systems, including Google Suite, Excel, Online Banking, and Xero.
- Strong data entry skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent organisational abilities with the capability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Familiarity with phone etiquette and professional communication standards.
- A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and a willingness to learn new skills.
