The Role
We are pleased to be recruiting for a Stores and Parts Coordinator within our warehouse in Paisley. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated Store and Parts Coordinator to join our thriving business and we are offering a generous remuneration and benefits package to attract a suitably talented candidate who can add value and play a key role within the business moving forward.
Reporting to the Service Manager, the responsibilities of the role include:
- Issuing and receiving of parts from manufacturers.
- Picking, Packing and Dispatching of parts for customers.
- Dealing with parts requests issued by Service Team.
- Maintaining a tidy, suitable working environment within the Stores Department.
- When required assisting the Technicians with quality checking of machinery.
- Opportunity to develop skills in building components.
The role is tasked with ensuring that all employees have access to the parts they need to carry out their job. It is a fundamental requirement of the role to ensure these parts are stored in an organised fashion so they can be easily found when needed.
You may also be responsible for ordering new parts or supplies when required.
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS REQUIRED
Necessary:
- Previous experience in a Parts/ Stores role
- Teambuilding skills, excellent interpersonal skills.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to use own initiative.
- Knowledge as well as practical use of ERP stock management systems / processes.
- Organised and methodical
- Good project management skills
- Numerate with an excellent command of written and spoken English.
- Can work sensibly on own initiative. Must be flexible to do any general manual duties as necessary.
