Job Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic sprayshop assistant with a keen eye for detail to join our finishing team. This position requires good communication and the ability to work effectively within a small team.
Duties
- Preparation of furniture surfaces ready to receive undercoats. De-nibbing and preparation of furniture surfaces ready to receive top coats.
- Keeping work area tidy and organised and ensuring safe storage of equipment and paint materials throughout the day and at end of the working day.
- Preparing paint stock ready for sprayers.
- Assisting with lifting furniture in and out of spray booths.
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a similar spray finishing role is preferred (in furniture or other industry)
- Ability to work well within a team as well as independently when required.
- A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn new skills.
- Good physical fitness, as the role will involve lifting and moving furniture items.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From £12.21 per hour
Expected hours: 38.5 per week
