Position: Office Junior
Reports to: Office Manager
Contract: Full-time / Permanent / 6 Probationary period applies
Purpose of Role
The Office Junior provides essential administrative and clerical support across the business, ensuring the smooth running of daily operations. This role is an excellent opportunity for someone at the beginning of their career who wishes to gain valuable office-based experience in a professional environment.
Key Responsibilities
- General office duties including photocopying, scanning, filing, and printing.
- Answering and directing phone calls, taking messages, and greeting visitors.
- Opening, distributing, and sending post and courier deliveries.
- Maintaining office supplies and assisting with ordering stationery or equipment.
- Updating and maintaining records, databases, and client files.
- Assisting other departments with administrative tasks as required.
- Supporting colleagues in preparation of documents and reports.
- Assisting with meeting room set-up, including refreshments.
- Carrying out ad hoc tasks and errands to support the team and Partners.
Skills & Attributes
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to work as part of a team and take direction.
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and take on new tasks.
- Professional, reliable, and punctual.
Qualifications & Experience
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths required.
- Previous office experience desirable but not essential – full training provided.
- Keen interest in developing a career in administration or professional services.

Hours of work - Monday to Friday 9am-5:30pm. One hour for lunch to be taken between 12 and 2.
