The Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable SENDCO to lead our special educational needs provision. You will work closely with children, parents, staff, and external agencies to identify and support children with SEND, ensuring that appropriate strategies and interventions are in place.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate SEND provision across the nursery
- Identify children with additional needs and monitor their progress
- Create and implement Support Plans and EHCPs
- Liaise with parents/carers, key workers, and external professionals
- Support Team in inclusive practices
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with statutory guidance
- Work in line with the SEND Code of Practice and EYFS framework
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From £12.21 per hour
Expected hours: 24 per week
Experience:
- SEND: 2 years (required)
- Childcare: 2 years (preferred)
